I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn’t put it down and read it all in one day. It’s a sweet story between the two main characters. I was really impressed with how much character building there was for a shorter book. I also very much appreciated the two font styles, one for each character. Really loved the ending. Highly recommend.
I was blown away by this book! As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I was thrilled to find a book with the representation I wish we’d seen more when I was a teenager. I was in high school at the same time as these characters, and I really enjoyed the fact that the book had references that brought me back to that time in my life.
Giving in to Gravity is beautifully written. It embraces its characters as they try to figure out who they are and where they belong in the world. It captures what it was like to be different from what society expected in a time when it was still very taboo, yet it’s not all drama and trauma, unlike so many books about queer teens. There are many genuinely sweet moments and some scenes had me cheering out loud for the characters.
I love this book for so many reasons. Riley and Sebastian are relatable characters even to readers who aren’t part of the LGBTQ community. The story is about finding one’s true self and living authentically, not just as a queer person but as a teenager entering adulthood. The characters feel realistic and are easy to embrace. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who has ever struggled with figuring out their place in the world.

This was a delightful sweet read. The characters were adorable, and every time you really thought something terrible would happen, it ended up being not the terrible thing you anticipated and had hoped against. I really liked it!
This book was recommended to me, so I snagged a copy on Amazon…and I am definitely glad I got to experience this sweet love story.
